Sunday 5th Feb -  training CANCELLED due to poor weather conditions

We meet in fields off the Lower Hartlip Road most Sundays between 10:00am and 11:00am
The aim of the club is to achieve a standard where dogs are sociable with each other and with people. Problem dogs accepted for training after consultation with Club trainers. Weekly £4 per dog, non profit , proceeds to various charities. Aggressive dogs must be muzzled. Interested in coming along then email Anne Payne for further information.

WEATHER
If due to inclement weather the ground conditions are unsuitable for training at our normal venue then if possible a note about any cancellation or alternative venue will be posted on this web site by 8:30am Sunday morning.

IMPROVEMENT AWARDS

The awards for this six month period were presented at training on the 29th May and 5th June 2011. They were presented by Mick, our patron,  to the dogs and handlers in recognition of their hard work and achievement in the following categories:

Gloria Weeks Award for most improved adult dog:

Sally - Sylvia (handler) collected by her husband.

Ros Williams Award for most improved puppy:
Alfie - Colin (handler)

 

Most improved rescue dog:
(Lou Bailey Award)

Dollie - Lorna (handler)

 

Well Done.

Training Venue
(starting from 5th Sept 2010)

Our training venue is next to the Rose and Crown pub in Lower Hartlip.

Directions:
From the A2 between Newington and Rainham turn into Lower Hartlip Road (sign posted Lower Hartlip) you will see the Tuck Inn cafe on the corner. Coming from the Newington direction the turning is on the left. Follow this road past Munn's Lane until you get to Hollow Lane, on your right, about three quarters of a mile from the A2. At this junction you will see the Rose and Crown Pub.  The training field is adjacent to the pub and is accessed through a gate on the Lower Hartlip Road between the pub and the house. Please park up the sides of the training field.

NOTE:
Please do not arrive before 9:30am.
Dogs must be kept on the lead at all time unless instructed otherwise during class.
If you need to give your dogs an off lead run please do it before arriving at the training area.
New members will be required to fill in a membership form. This membership form can be downloaded in word format.
