Charity Donations 2008

During 2008 the club made donations to eleven different charities. Those that benefited last year were:

German Shepherd Rescue
Labrador Rescue
Last Chance
Westland School Farm Unit
Buttercup Goat Sanctuary
Lord Whisky Sanctuary
4Pawz & More Rescue
Foal Farm
Homewood School Farm Unit
Valgray's Border Collie Rescue
Pets for Demelza
German Shepherd Rescue
Sittingbourne Greyhound Rescue

The money from the weekly training fee minus club expenses meant we were able to make donations to the above charities which totalled £3750. This is the highest annual amount we have been able to donate and beats the previous highest, which was last year, by £700..
The club supports mainly non national animal related charities that operate in or adjacent to Kent. It is evident from the letters received from the above charities that the money really makes a difference in helping animals who are in need.
These letters are normally available for viewing at the AGM.
